Raccolta delle FAQ del Comitato "Ispezione" di EA dal 2000 al 2008.

EA has 3 technical committees: the Certification Committee (CC), the Inspection Committee (IC) and the Laboratory Committee (LC).

They discuss all technical issues related respectively to the accreditation of certification bodies, inspection bodies and laboratories, with the view of establishing best practice and fostering harmonization.

The standards for the work in EA are:

• Laboratories: ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189
• Inspection: ISO/IEC 17020
• Product Certification: EN 45011 (ISO/IEC Guide 65)
• Personnel Certification: ISO/IEC 17024
• Management Systems Certification: ISO/IEC 17021

These are the standards used for accreditation by the EA members.

In 2008, as for the work of the Inspection Committee (IC), after publication of EA-5/03 "EA/ENFSI Guidance on the implementation of ISO/IEC 17020 in the field of crime scene investigation" end 2008, the Committee finalised an "Independence package" and the list of questions and answers dealt with over the past 5 years, marking the successful chairmanship of Merih Malmqvist's since 2005. Merih indeed chaired her last IC meeting in September and Norbert Müller, BMWFJ Austria will take over in 2010.
